Are you a DevOps Engineer with an "automate everything" mindset? In this role, you'll work on lifecycle management, operations, and infrastructure automation for a critical environment.
Your daily tasks will range from handling incidents and improving monitoring systems to automating YAML pipelines and optimizing infrastructure. With your expertise in Azure, Linux, and Ansible, you'll ensure stability, security, and efficiency in a dynamic Agile environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lifecycle Management: Keeping software up to date and secure (e.g., upgrading Grafana, Telegraf, Java JVMs/JDKs).
- Operations & Monitoring: Proactively monitoring infrastructure, improving observability, and preventing incidents before they occur.
- Automation & Technical Debt Reduction: Implementing infrastructure-as-code and automating manual tasks (e.g., certificate management, patching pipelines).
- Collaboration: Participating in stand-ups, sprint reviews, and refinements to drive continuous improvement.
Your Expertise
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Azure and Azure YAML pipelines.
- Strong Linux and Ansible skills.
- Expertise in monitoring and alerting systems.
- Agile development experience and strong troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of Bicep, Apache Cassandra, Kubernetes, and Java.
- Strong understanding of networking.
What can you expect
- €5,210 - €5,750 per month (excluding holiday pay) based on 36 hours.
- Hybrid work: 2 days per week in the office (Amsterdam area).
- Long-term stability: 2-year project with a leading organization.
